OVERVIEW:
in 1995, Get Smart returned to television with a short-lived series that aired on Fox...
since the Cold War had ended, KAOS incorporated itself, took on a mysterious female leader, and decided to shift its focus from "world domination" to "world economic domination"... thankfully, CONTROL was there to save the day!
as the series begins, Maxwell Smart (Don Adams) had been newly appointed as Chief of CONTROL, and his wife, 99 (Barbara Feldon), had been elected to Congress, where she was at least partially responsible for approving CONTROL's budget... with his budget in place, among Max's first decisions was to promote his son, Zachary (Andy Dick) from his position in research to fell-fledged field agent... Zach was then teamed up with the alluring Agent 66 (Elaine Hendrix), who remained his partner for the run of the series...
the old hall of doors is gone, and so is the phonebooth, but CONTROL has new facilities with their own secret entrance...
