here's a place to compile a list of all the homages/throwbacks in the new movie to the original TV show... here's a few to get you started: - Catchphrases: "Sorry about that, Chief!", "Missed it by THAT much!", "Would you believe..."
- Cameo by Bernie Kopell (the original Siegfried) driving a gold Opel similar to the one from Season 5's opening sequence
- The airline Max and 99 use to get to Russia is "Yarmy International". Don Adams' birth name was Donald Yarmy
- During the opening credits, you see a note about "The Claw (Craw)", which is a reference to a villain from the original show
- Leonard Stern (one of the producers of the original show) has a cameo as the pilot of the plane commandeered by Max and the Chief
- James Caan, who played the President in the movie, appeared in the original series as Rupert of Rathskeller in the "To Sire With Love" two-parter
- When Max and 99 first meet in the movie, a marquee in the background advertizes "Ship of Spies", which was the title of a two-parter in the original series
- The Sunbeam Tiger and the shoe phone in the museum disguising Control HQ are intended as relics from the original show
- The Hall of Doors ending with the phonebooth as an elevator is a reference to the original show's opening sequence, though the doors have been given a more modern look
there are more that i know of, but i thought i'd wait and give the rest of you a chance before i go on...

the museum was pretty cool. You could vaguely see Don Adam's face at one point...

I never saw Don Adams' face in the movie, but I did notice several of the throwbacks the Chief listed above. Spotting those throwbacks was probably the best part about watching the movie.
