Hi, I just bought Season 1 of Get Smart on DVD. Not the Time Life but the HBO one with a sleeve and a keepsake box. I only saw season 1, are any other seasons of Get Smart on separate season DVD's? Any answers would be appreciated.

it depends where you live... in Australia, i believe all 5 seasons can be purchased individually or as a collection... in the US, you can now buy the complete series from your favorite retailer (Amazon is selling the complete set for $109 right now), but so far, only Season 1 has been released to retail stores by itself... the retail complete set is identical to the TimeLife set, but the retail Season 1 set is different from the Season 1 set available through TimeLife in that the TimeLife set includes a 5th disc containing bonus material... the retail version only includes the four discs of episodes... when researching to answer your question, i noticed that Amazon now lists a retail version of Season 2 available for pre-order (set to be released on March 10, 2009)... as with the retail version of the first season, it's cheaper than the TimeLife set, but it is only the four discs of episodes - no 5th disc full of bonus material... if the episodes by themselves are all that interest you, i assume they will continue to release the other seasons in 4-disc sets, one every 5-6 months... if you can't wait, though, or if you're really interested in bonus material, then i highly recommend either buying the 5-disc individual seasons from TimeLife (they have dropped their prices from $40 per season to $30 per season) or buying the complete set from Amazon or your favorite retailer... if you are not from Australia or the US, let me know which region you need information for, and i'll try to find out what i can for you... hope this was helpful! and welcome to the forum!

I wasn't sure about starting a new topic for this, so i'll just post here. My GS complete collection arrived this morning, i've only seen the first 4 episodes.

I finished series 1 earlier, and watched series 2, episode 1: Anatomy Of A Lover earlier today. I'm surprised at how good the video quality is.
So far, I think Ship of Spies (P1 & Pt2) is my favourite episode.

i agree the video quality is very good on the DVDs, though sometimes on my fancy TV it's a little pixelated... my ancient TV has no problems with it, though... don't know howto explain that one...
Ship of Spies is great! won an Emmy if i recall correctly... another great multi-parter is The Little Black Book, which co-stars Don Rickles... you'll be amazed (if you're not already) at all the big name cameos the show drew over its run!
