Is there any talk of a Get Smart sequel?

Steve Carell did say a while back when he made an appearance on MTV that if this movie did well (which it obviously has), that he would be glad to do another one, and he thought that "everyone else" (didn't specify, but maybe Hathaway, Arkin, Stamp, Segal ??) would be up for it, as well...
i haven't heard anything that sounds remotely official yet, though, so who knows?

i dunno... doesn't really fit anywhere else, and if they do end up announcing a new sequel, that will belong in this section... maybe if i start a "future of Get Smart" section, or something like that, i'll slide this over there... but for now i'd say it's fine where it is...

I imagine it's only a matter of time before they officially announce a Get Smart sequel. I wonder what they'll call it?
Get Smart 2 (I hope not) Get Smarter (Really hope not) Get Smart, Again (wait scratch that)
How about Get Smart: Revenge of KAOS?

i really kinda am leaning towards a subtitled sequel title, like the last suggestion you gave... i was thinking about it the other day, and i thought Get Smart: Siegfried's Revenge would be good, though it sounds kinda corny to me right now...
the Bruce & Lloyd DVD was originally gonna be Get Smarter: Bruce & Lloyd Out of CONTROL, and i decided then that i really hated the idea of "Get Smarter" in a film title completely... hope they never revisit it...

If they do a trilogy I would love to see Max and 99 get married at the end of the second film and have their twins in the third.

I wouldn't mind a sequel, providing they can come up with some more original ideas.
And I'm sure they can.

I haven't seen this first one yet, so I don't know how interested I'll be in a sequel yet.
