things you might not learn from my profile: - i created this forum (so if you have problems/questions/suggestions, feel free to PM me about them!)
- i have over 500 titles in my DVD collection, covering a wide range of genres
- i have lived in Kentucky (most of my life), Louisiana (2 years when i was very young), and Delaware (3 years), and i have travelled to Canada (once) and Northern Ireland (twice) - i now currently reside in the great Commonwealth of Kentucky!
- i am married to a lovely, understanding woman who puts up with my many movie/TV-related passions as much as humanly possible (and sometimes more than i think possible!), but i have no kids as of yet, though i look forward to someday fatherhood!
- i play the guitar, piano, and drums; i sing; i write my own music; i was in a rock band in college; i have performed several accoustic shows, both solo and with groups; and i most often can be found playing my guitar at my local church, where i am a very active member
- i am a member of several forums, including MI6 forums, MurphsPlace forums, and The Andy Griffith Show Forum, to name a few; and in addition to running this forum, i also run the 'Therapeutic Pink' Pink Panther Message Boards...
- my favorite breakfast cereal is Cocoa Crispies or Count Chocula, either one, though - truth be told - i don't usually eat breakfast
- i LOVE M&Ms: plain, peanut, almond, dark chocolate, mint, peanut butter - really doesn't matter what kind!
what about the rest of you??

Hello, nick86 here. I found this place on MI6 where you can find me by my alias nick_007 I've seen a few episodes of Get Smart and really enjoyed them. I've been wanting to see more ever since. I was on the set of the 2008 Get Smart film, it was very fun and cool to see how it all came together in the final cut. I'm Canadian, but I love to travel when I can afford to. I'd like to get into the Get Smart TV show a little more, that's why I joined this place. Nice to see some of my friends from MI6 here too. ;D so where should I go first? I forgot how overwhelming forums are when you first join them.

This may be a little late, but:
- I'm on MI6/KTBEU as Major D.Smythe (eh, i'm creative with my usernames me).
- I'm a bit of a horror film fan. Friday The 13th is my favourite horror film series, with May being my singular favourite horror film.
- Some of my favourite actress are: Charlotte Rampling, Isabelle Adjani, Angela Bettis, Kelly Brook, Olivia Hussey, Isabelle Huppert and quite a few others. Favourite actors such as: Terry-Thomas, Gene Hackman, Frank Sinatra, Robert Mitchum, again as well as a few others.
- I'm also a James Bond fan. Have, have been one for as long as I can remember. Earliest Bond memories are of the James Bond jr cartoon.
- I'm something of a big kid at heart, especially with model cars & computer games.
- Some of my favourite tv shows: Dead Like Me, La Femme Nikita, Hustle & Rebus.
- I'm a car nut: The Ford Cortina, all classic Alfa Romeo's (as well as a few modern ones, Porsche's, the odd Mercedes Benz, Lamborgini's from the 1960's to the 1980's and 1 or two from the modern day etc...

nice to know you (better), Major! in the year and a half since i started this thread, my DVD collection has grown to almost 800 titles! i liked the bit about putting down favorite TV shows, so i'll try that - i like mostly older shows (Get Smart, Andy Griffith, Adventures of Superman, Dukes of Hazard, Batman, Honeymooners, Beverly Hillbillies, etc, etc, etc)... i also like a few not-so-old old shows (Everybody Loves raymond, seinfeld, King of Queens)... i don't watch most of what's being put out these days... newer shows i do generally like include The Office, Mythbusters, and Smallville, though i've never watched a new episode of Smallville when it originally aired - i've been watching the episodes in order on DVD for a few years, and i'm up to about Season 7 now, so NOBODY TELL ME WHAT HAPPENS! it's also a little-known fact that i like cartoons... i'm not talking about the rubbish on the cartoon Network or NickToons, and i don't just mean Family Guy or The Simpsons (though those two are sometimes amusing), but i really love classic cartoons - Looney Tunes, The Pink Panther, The Inspector, Popeye, classic Disney flicks with Mickey/Donald/Goofy/Pluto/Chip'n'Dale... also, the occasional Disney cartoon movie like Robin Hood or Peter Pan (none of that fairy/princess crap!)... i used to love GI Joe when i was younger, but i haven't seen that in ages... also, i prefer stuff that's hand-drawn, and not so much this computer animated junk, though once in a while there's a good one like The Incredibles or Meet the Robinsons... i'm fairly selective about what i like, but when i find something i like, i like to hang onto it!

I did post a more detailed list/ my top in the thread below this. I'm a list maker, films, actors/actresses, tv shows, games, i've got one for them all. ;D

it would be difficult for me to make a list of favorite actors/actresses - even harder to actually rank them in any way... i'd have a hard time ranking movies and TV shows, too, though i can rank things in small categories like "Get Smart movies", overall seasons, or episodes with specific characters/characteristics...
