from my words in the "Last Episode You Watched" thread - I figured this might be of some fun. As we all know Get Smart was a sppof on the spy craze at the time, notably started by the ultra-fantastic James Bond films but the bond series was not the only series to be spoofed throughout the Get Smart saga of the 5 seasons. so here - as the threads title suggests - is designed to be a list of all these homages.

My first observations:
Season 1, Episode 1, Mr. Big - the KAOS boat and men in black swimsuits are a clear, if slightly smaller reference to the swimsuits and boat of SPECTRE in the James Bond film Thunderball - the ensuing fight on the boat is also a clever parody
Season1, Episode 2, Diplomat's Daughter - the KAOS villain The Claw/The Craw is a clear parody (owing to asian heritage and metal hand) of the James Bond villain Dr. No from the film of the same name.
Season 1, Episode 3, School Days - The Spy School is another Bond Parody, this of SPECTRE Island training camp from From Russia With Love - the use of throwing bowler hats is also a clear homage to Oddjob from Goldfinger

are you looking for any and all homages? or for homages specifically related to James Bond?
in either event, you may find many of them simply in the titles of episodes, in addition to any plot points...
for instance, just parodying the Bond universe, there were titles such as: "Bronzefinger" (obviously parodying Goldfinger, both named for their villains), "Pussycats Galore" (parodying the character Pussy Galore, who again was in Goldfinger), "Dr. Yes" (parodying Dr. No - and like the character Dr. No, the villainous Dr. Yes, was of mixed Eastern/Western decent, and had something strange about his hands), "To Sire, with Love" (the title parodies From Russia With Love, though the episode content doesn't), and "Ironhand" (Goldfinger again)...
if you want to go beyond just the Bond references, there are TONS of what Barbara Feldon referred to as "movie title titles", especially in Seasons 4 & 5...

This might be stretching the envelope of Bond homages, but in the one where 99 leaves CONTROL, the guy she hooks up with is one Victor Royale, who runs Royale's Casino. You see, with the names and the...thing...
For general homages, wow, where to start? Smart played Bogart three times, parodying Casablanca, Maltese Falcon, and Treasure of the Sierra Madre!

i do think Royale's Casino was an intended Bond homage...
lets see, other episode titles that i recognized as parodies: "The Man from YENTA" (The Man from UNCLE), "Die, Spy" (I Spy), "The Impossible Mission" (Mission: Impossible), "Snoopy Smart vs. The Red Baron" (Snoopy vs. The Red Baron), "Diamonds Are a Spy's Best Friend" (the song Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes), "Tequila Mockingbird" (To Kill a Mockingbird), "Greer Window" (not just the title, but the episode itself also was a parody of Rear Window), "The Not-So-Great Escape" (not just the title, but the episodes themselves also were a parody of The Great Escape), "Valerie of the Dolls" (Valley of the Dolls), "Widow Often Annie" (Little Orphan Annie), "The Treasure of C. Erroll Madre" (The Treasure of the Sierra Madre), "Physician Impossible" (Mission: Impossible), "Apes of Wrath" (Grapes of Wrath), "Smartacus" (Spartacus)...
there are probably more, but those are the ones that struck me right off...

i do think Royale's Casino was an intended Bond homage... lets see, other episode titles that i recognized as parodies: ... How about "I Am Curiously Yellow"! 'The Fugitive' was parodied once, complete with somber narration - so was the short-lived 'Run For Your Life', when a poisoned Max leaves a doctors' office, quietly reflects on his fate, then yells to no one in particular, "HeeeEEELP!!!"

the episode Aboard the Orient Express is a clear homage to From Russia With Loveis it? or is it more an homage to Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express? (or both?) guess i need to rewatch the episode...

'Smart the Assassin' draws pretty heavily from 'The Manchurian Candidate', with chess as the trigger instead of solitaire (my favorite part is KAOS's utter inability to get Max to escape their cell)

in "Run, Robot, Run", the KAOS agents CONTROL must thwart are named Mr. Sneed and Mrs. Neal, which is an homage to Mr. Steed and Mrs. Peel in The Avengers...

the episode title "The Mild Ones" is an homage to Marlon Brando's The Wild One, and both feature motorcycles prominently...
also, the story to the episode "Classification: Dead" was taken straight from DOA (1950)...
