"Anatomy of a Lover" - the title a homage to "anatomy of a murder", a 1959 James Stewart film
"Casablanca" - well.
"Pussycats Galore" - I must be dreaming....

i should have mentionedthat in addition to the episode title "Dr. Yes" being an homage to James Bond's Dr. No, the plot is also an homage to the same film... Dr. Yes is using an under-water power plant to throw US missles off course, and he attempts to kill any visitors to the secluded grounds near his lair...

"The Apes of Rath", Steinbeckian title aside, certainly owes a lot to Kong, not least the 'twas beauty that killed the beast' gag at the end.

like Ice Station Siegfried? you know, i didn't really know what you were talking about until someone mentionedthe movie Ice Station Zebra (1968) to me today... but yeah, that's more than just a "movie title title", too, because it also shares the similarities of the protagonists going to the North Pole and the involvment of both in a "weather station" there at the North Pole...

This might be stretching the envelope of Bond homages, but in the one where 99 leaves CONTROL, the guy she hooks up with is one Victor Royale, who runs Royale's Casino. You see, with the names and the...thing... i just watched that one today - "99 Loses Control" - and i noticed a second homage in the episode... when 99 asks Max why he's there, he goes on about how he enjoys his freedom, and he spins a globe before getting his finger caught in it... i think this is a direct homage to Inspector Clouseau of the Pink Panther films, who has had his own share of difficulty with globes... in 1963's the Pink Panther, Clouseau tries to stop a spinning globe, and it throws him in the floor... then in 1964's A Shot in the Dark, when Clouseau again tries to stop a spinning globe, he gets his whole hand caught in it and exclaims, "I have Africa all over my hand!"...

in "One of Our Olives is Missing", when Max tells Annie he's a secret agent, she laughs and says, "Let's face it: you're no Sean O'Connery!" - an obvious homage to James Bond's Sean Connery...

i mentioned previously that the title "Bronzefinger" was an homage to the james Bond movie "Goldfinger", but i hadn't watched the episode in a good while until today... within the episode, there are further homages to Goldfinger... for one, Agent 54 dies from skin suffocation after Bronzefinger paints him blue from head to toe, just like the "golden girl" painted in Goldfinger... the other is more subtle... in Goldfinger, the villain famously attempts to kill Bond with the aid of a tool inspired by his name (in this case, a laser for cutting gold); in Bronzefinger, the villain attempts to kill Max and 99 by having them bronzed... sometimes i think the writers of the show were even Smarter than we give them credit for!
